Italian potato and vegetable trader Luigi Giacomello has regained the lead in Fresh Publishers’ World Cup Pool with 1,449 points. He is closely followed by Rob Welles of Dutch plant nursery Ovata on 1,437 points. Spain’s Jose Luis Perez Lopez has moved up to third place.

Rob Mulder (Fresh Solutions) and Dirk van den Hurk (aaff) occupy fourth and fifth place respectively. Cindy van Rijswick (Rabobank), who held the number one spot for several days, has now dropped to sixth.
Three newcomers have entered the top 10: Andre Filippov of Germany’s Global Fruit Point, Bjorn Van Ryckeghem of Belgium’s Deprez Construct, and Guido de Bruijn of Agrofair, who currently sit in seventh, eighth, and ninth place. Paul Denness of the British company Flamingo Flowers completes the top 10.
In the country rankings, participants from Central and South America are performing best. Guatemala currently leads the standings, followed by Ecuador and Colombia.
