The international fresh produce sector is mourning the loss of Ronald Bown Fernández, a prominent figure in the development of Chile’s fruit export industry.

While leading the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX) for more than 30 years, Bown played a central role in expanding Chile’s presence in global markets and strengthening the country’s reputation as a reliable supplier of fresh fruit worldwide.

His contribution to the industry leaves a lasting legacy across the international produce trade.

Our thoughts are with his family, colleagues, and the many industry professionals who worked with him throughout his distinguished career.
