UN issues guidance for the sustainable transformation of the food system

The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) as well as The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as well as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) have released Rethinking food Systems The guide to collaboration between multiple stakeholders and is an approach designed to help stakeholders work to achieve sustainable change in their food systems across every level of the value chain. The guide offers insights on what it takes to ensure a seamless and collaborative shift to sustainable food systems built on five fundamental elements which include collaboration, understanding the system and establishing A compass and road map.
