Tongliang District radishes exported overseas for the first time

A vehicle loaded by 25 tons of fresh radishes left at Tongliang District, Chongqing, on the 6th of June. The truck will then be loaded on an train, and then journey across Guizhou and Yunnan prior to arriving at Lao Cai, Vietnam.

Due to the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) which is a logistic route that links Southwest China with Southeast Asia it is the first occasion that Tongliang Radishes are being exported to other countries. Radishes grown in Tongliang are made using a plant-based base located in Gaolou Town. By 2022 the radishes grown in this region were included on the list of top national innovative agricultural products, which was approved from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China.
