McCain names Jillian Moffatt as new regional vice president of UK operations

McCain Foods has appointed Jillian Moffat as the company’s new regional vice president of UK operations. She will replace Howard Snape in the role.

Jillian Moffatt is set to start her job at the largest producer of frozen potato products beginning in April. She will be moving to Canada into the UK. Moffatt joined the company in 2008 as the chief finance officer for McCain Foods Canada and subsequently advanced her career in several positions within the company. The last position she was in was at McCain is chief tech officer. She will be stepping down in September of 2020. She was responsible for the information technology, data and digital departments.

Jillian together with McCain’s GB&I high-level leaders are working closely with farmers in the UK to improve upon their recent achievements as they continue to strengthen our supply chain’s capacity to satisfy the demands of our clients as well as our business partners.

Under Howard’s guidance, McCain delivered consistent revenue increase, and has been making investments and preparing for the future. This includes its PS170m investment in the renewal of its Scarborough production plant as well as the introduction of its PS25m “Farmers Pledge” to help the 250 British farmers as they face rising climate change.

The announcement comes in the same time that McCain announces a line of audio and digital conversation cards that are designed to be conversation to spark conversations for families during meals.
