Evergreen buys a minority stake in Rotterdam terminal

One of the largest container shipping firms in Taiwan, Evergreen, has been reported to have bought a 20 percent part of the Euromax terminal in the Rotterdam port located in the Netherlands.

According to Alphaliner The Hong Hong Kong-based port operator Hutchison Ports seems to have purchased the stake from the Taiwanese firm for around EUR72.5 millions (US$79 millions). The Chinese shipping company COSCO is also a shareholder in the terminal for containers.
