Dutch packer employs Production Efficiency Control System

In the year 2019 Austrian software company activeIT has implemented its production management software, formerly known as traceNET-Production. It was implemented within the Dutch fresh food center, Fresh Park Venlo. Following a brief pause, and a change of name it is now gaining momentum.

Erik van Maren, Director of Pakstation Venlo B.V. and Project Director Sebastian Kamps and Christopher Immervoll, PECS Consultant at activeIT review the findings of the project.

Van Maren “We do have an excellent team and are extremely satisfied with our time tracking that runs superbly. In terms of scheduling, we can’t yet confirm if it is effective. However, in this field it is not using all the possibilities that PECS can offer as a result of internal processes. True, but We are still performing the plan in Excel after which the information is then transferred into PECS. For the foreseeable future we’ll definitely be planning in PECS.”

S. Kamps: “Of course, transitions are not always easy. Particularly for employees who have been with us for a long time who have had to make the transition to a new process since they’ve had different roles through their career. When employees are asked to provide feedback, it is important to be able to distinguish between different aspects.”
