Covirán sees revenue and profit growth in FY2025
Spanish cooperative Covirán reported sales of over €1.8bln in its 2025 financial year – a 0.6% increase on the previous year. The Spanish market was the main contributor, with €1.64bln, while sales in Portugal accounted for the remaining €215mln. It has also strengthened its fresh-produce sections and increased agreements with local producers.

Ireland: Musgrave reports turnover growth in FY2025, profit amounts to €132.9mln
Irish retailer Musgrave Group has reported 5.4% year-on-year growth in turnover, to €5.5bln, in its financial year 2025. The increase in turnover contributed to a rise in operating profit before exceptional costs to €132.8mln, while profit before tax, before exceptional costs, amounted to €132.9mln, in line with the prior year. SuperValu generated €3.6bln in sales, while Centra contributed €2.6bln.

ACCC to monitor supermarket compliance with new excessive pricing prohibition
