Tajikistan harvests 326,500 tonnes of fruit, including 85,600 tonnes of grapes

Tajikistan has harvested 326,500 tonnes of fruit as of September 11, including 85,600 tonnes of grapes, according to the country’s Ministry of Agriculture. The country’s orchards cover 165,500 hectares, while vineyards account for another 36,400 hectares.

More than 119,000 hectares of new orchards and vineyards have been established in Tajikistan over the past 35 years. The country has also adopted a horticulture, viticulture and citrus development programme for 2025–2029.

Grape growers supply the domestic market while also processing part of the crop through drying.
