Israeli farmer grows world-record-breaking lemon

On January 8, 2003, Aharon Shemoel grew a world-record-breaking lemon on his farm in Kefar Zeitim, Israel. The fruit weighed in at 11lbs, 9.7 ounces, or 5.265 kilograms. The lemon of Shemoel has been regarded as the most heaviest lemon ever recorded in the Guinness World Records for over two decades. The lemon’s circumference was 29 inches.
