“Amid evolving global sourcing patterns, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and ongoing geopolitical and logistics disruptions across several regions, the fresh produce industry is increasingly focusing on resilient supply chains and diversified sourcing partnerships. In this backdrop, Fresh India Show 2026 aims to serve as a strategic platform for strengthening international trade relations and expanding India’s footprint in global fresh fruits and vegetables trade.”

The Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet will provide international buyers an opportunity to interact directly with credible Indian exporters and explore India’s wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables. “The event will facilitate structured B2B meetings, networking sessions, trade discussions, and long-term sourcing partnerships.”

“Over the years, Fresh India Show has emerged as one of India’s important trade platforms for the fruits and vegetables industry, bringing together growers, exporters, importers, retailers, processors, QSRs, cold-chain operators, packaging companies, agri-tech firms, and global supply-chain stakeholders under one roof,” Naqvi highlights.

The event will also feature conferences and networking opportunities focused on market trends, export opportunities, quality standards, logistics, packaging innovations, and supply-chain solutions.

Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, plays a significant role in promoting agricultural and processed food exports through trade facilitation, infrastructure development, quality improvement, branding, and international market promotion initiatives.

“We believe initiatives like this Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet and the Fresh India Show will contribute significantly towards the vision of making ‘India the fruit & vegetable basket of the world” by strengthening export linkages, promoting Indian produce globally, and enhancing bilateral trade opportunities,” Naqvi concludes.
