Another shipment of fresh Uzbek produce has arrived in the United Kingdom, reports IA Dunyo. This time, 2 tons of melons and grapes were delivered to London. The exporter is Exim Dried Fruits Import Group, while the importer is Baykoos Foods Ltd.
Uzbek fruits are increasingly standing out on the British market for their taste, quality, and competitive pricing, generating growing demand among local buyers.
According to official figures, Uzbekistan doubled its agricultural exports to the UK in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year. A key driver of this success was the “Products of Uzbekistan” trade fair, held in London in June for the first time. More than 20 leading Uzbek exporters took part, visiting wholesale markets and distribution hubs, and holding meetings with major importers of fresh fruit and vegetables. These events led to the first export contracts with British companies.
Today, Uzbek exporters supply the UK with more than 30 types of agricultural products, ranging from grapes and melons to dried fruits and vegetables.
