The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of Almaty region recently organized a press tour showcasing leading enterprises in horticulture, storage, and processing. One of the key sites was APPLE BEE, a modern orchard complex operating on 120 hectares with a full production cycle, from fruit growing to nursery and juice production.
Founded in 2013, the enterprise manages 110 hectares, including 78 ha of super-intensive orchards developed with European technologies.
During the press tour, journalists observed harvesting in intensive orchards now in progress. More than 400,000 trees are cultivated, covering 12 apple varieties as well as apricot and plum. Yields reach 60–70 tons per hectare, with annual production of up to 4,000 tons of apples.
In 2016, the company began producing saplings for its own needs. By 2023, APPLE BEE received a license as an elite nursery and entered the national market. The nursery covers 25 ha with mother plantations, cutting orchards, and modern infrastructure capable of producing between 300,000 and 1 million saplings annually.
Collaborating with global breeders, it supplies high-quality, climate-adapted planting material that meets international standards. Over 500,000 trees have already been grown and planted across the country.
Beyond fruit and saplings, the enterprise produces up to 140,000 liters annually of cold-pressed apple juice, made without sugar, water, or preservatives. Products are marketed locally and exported. A modern controlled-atmosphere storage facility allows fruit to be preserved fresh for long periods, ensuring a stable supply to the market.
