Banana wholesale prices in several European markets recorded declines in week 32 compared to week 31, with decreases ranging from minimal adjustments to more pronounced drops.

In Latvia, the average wholesale price fell from €85/100 kg in week 31 to €76/100 kg in week 32, marking a notable week-on-week decrease. Croatia also reported a reduction, with prices moving from €120/100 kg to €108/100 kg.

Hungary saw only a marginal change, with prices edging down from €136/100 kg to €135/100 kg. The Netherlands experienced a larger decline, as prices slipped from €119/100 kg to €109/100 kg.

Slovakia recorded a moderate decrease, with average prices falling from €149/100 kg in week 31 to €146/100 kg in week 32.
All five markets registered lower banana prices compared to the previous week, with Hungary posting the smallest movement and Latvia the largest relative drop. These changes reflect varied price adjustments across the region’s wholesale markets.
